In addition to academics, I also found a true love for the arts while playing the violin and participating in the band as a flutist. I received an honors education and continued my exposure to the medical field through volunteer work. After moving to Sugar Land, Texas with my family for more of an opportunity to excel, I continued my academic endeavors in the Fort Bend ISD Dulles elementary, middle and High schools. Back home in Beaumont, Texas, I would play doctor with my dolls while always aspiring for educational excellence at Cathedral in the Pines school. When he isn’t caring for patients, he and his wife (a transfusion pathologist at UT Southwestern) are immersed in the joyful chaos of caring for their two young children and spending time with their extended family.Since I was a little girl, I have always dreamed of becoming a physician.
